A looping animation about a hypothetical cycle of love: the spark, attachment, the break-up, then a fresh start. Shapes and colours change at each stage to set the mood. The film is entirely hand-drawn, frame by frame, in traditional animation.

The storyboard the animation was built from, shot by shot.

Setting the pace
The animatic was used to set the length of each shot before animating. Some passages felt too slow, so they were shortened in the final edit.
